We will be having a neighborhood cleanup at SGHS this Saturday (4/26/2018) from 9am-11am.

Whittier Narrows Cleanup 2/10/17, 9-11 AM

Garvey Park Cleanup 12/23/17 9am-11am

Last chance of the semester to reach your hour requirement. Park cleanup will be at Garvey park at 9 am to 11 am. Meet up at the playground. In the comments, put down your name, ID number, and grade. Hope to see you guys there!

Keep in mind that the requirement for the semester is 10 hours and that additional hours will carry on over to next semester. If you are struggling to meet the hour requirements, let cabinet know and we'll see if we can do something for you.

Watershed Restoration Program (11/4/17) SAT

Howdy!

The watershed restoration program is a possible 4 service hours. You'll be repairing a watershed, which is a man-made structure that helps divert water from streams to where it's needed. The event aims to be hands-on, interactive, educational, and, hopefully, fun. This signup is for the November 4th event (SATURDAY)

To sign up, comment down your full name, ID, and grade number. Sign up quickly; spots may be limited! If you would like to cancel, let us know at least by Friday (11/3/17). 

Also, the commute is 25 miles. If you're driving someone down there, let us know because we'll award an extra 30 minutes for your extra work! (Cannot earn more than 60 minutes for driving people.)

E-Waste - May 21, 2016

Hey guys! E-waste will once again be hosting a recycling event at our school. Volunteers are needed to help carry and sort old electronics. Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you won't mind getting dirty!
