Emerson Elementary Neighborhood Clean-up!

Environmental's first official "Neighborhood Clean-up!"

DATE: The day before Lincoln's Birthday!  Monday, February 11, 2013

TIME: 1PM to 3 PM

WHERE: MEET AT EMERSON SCHOOL, ADDRESS IS BELOW AS USUAL.

Be there to make history as one of first to help execute Enviro's first official neighborhood clean up! We will be cleaning up the area just like at park clean ups in the green area marked in the picture above. Only this time, we'll split everyone up into 4 groups with a group leader so no one gets lost! (:

Environmental Animal and Land Adoptions

We have all worked hard and raised a lot of money through our recyclings and fundraisers! Environmental  Club has decided to put that money to good use by symbolically adopting eight animals, and two acres of land!

The following animals are:  

 Polar Bear

Panda

Sea Turtle

Przewalski's Horse

Emperor Penguin Chick

Emerald Hummingbird

Two manatees named Lorelei and Vector

The plots of land are in Brazil where a tree will be planted for every dollar, and the Coral Reefs.
