TEENS FOR JEANS EXTENDED TO FEBRUARY 22!

Hi everyone! 

DoSomething, Environmental, Key, NHS, and Yes I Can club are collaborating to host a Teens For Jeans jean drive to donate jeans to a homeless shelter! 

This jean drive is sponsored nationwide by DoSomething.org and Aeropostale. The school that collects the most jeans will win a $10,000 grant, FREE school hoodies for EVERYONE, and a pizza party! 

Please bring your used jeans of any length, brand, size or color to any one of the following locations! :D

L214, Mrs. Bassette's room

SA-3 Ms. Malone's room

SA-8 Ms. Keller's room 

@ the Quad during lunch!

E Waste! Sign-ups

Time: 8 AM to 4 PM [there's two shifts]

Where: SGHS South Parking Lot (The one near the E-Building)

Hey Environmentalists! The time has come for the E-waste event at our own SGHS, and we need your help! :D 

We will be:

• directing traffic 
•  helping donors unload their cars 
  
  
  As with the majority of Environmental events, please wear clothing you wouldn't mind getting dirty and is appropriate for the weather on that day (There's a handy weather widget on this post for a reason ^^)

  Note: E-waste will NOT be accepting appliances such as refrigerators, washers, and dryers due to the chemicals they contain. Anything else would be fine though, such as batteries, computers, monitors, TVs, old telephones, and more! The bigger and heavier, the better! [:
