Beach Clean Up! NO SOCIAL

Exhausted from all those rigorous testing regimes?
(Well, you will be. Trust.)
Feeling the burn from the stress?
Cool off at the beach! Kind of.

Environmental and Key Club are collaborating together for a Beach Clean Up!
It's a great way to celebrate the end of CST and AP testing, while helping the environment.
We will only be cleaning! The social has been canceled, and moved to May 28th, Memorial Day at Almansor Park, in order to include everyone for some very much needed bonding<3.

Need a ride? 

DON'T WORRY. WE GOT THIS. 

There will be a bus! 

However, SEATS ARE LIMITED!

Time: The buses will be arriving approximately at 8:30 AM at the front of SGHS, and leaving the beach at 12:30 PM.

ECO FAIR 2012 CANCELLED

UPDATE: VOLUNTEERING AT ECO-FAIR HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
The coordinator only needed 4 people to come, and we felt that would be unfair to our members if only a few were able to experience this opportunity.  Sorry about that! However, you can still go to the fair to enjoy it! 

Green, green, and more green!
Eco Fair promotes all things green and beneficial to the environment! Come volunteer, or just to experience the annual Eco Fair!

Date: Saturday, May 5th, 2012
Time: 9AM to 2PM
Place: Alhambra Park Bandshell, 500 North Palm Avenue
There will be various GREEN exhibitions, products, and services! FREE giveaway education materials, and other items. Experience fun family activities, live band, and entertainment, as well as yummy gourmet food trucks! 

Monterey Park Earth Day Bike Ride!

Celebrate Earth Day with some volunteer work at the Monterey Park Earth Day Bike Ride!

And no!
Biking skills are not necessary!
We will most likely be helping out with the Earth Day Festival following the Bike Ride.

Date: Saturday, April 21st, 2012.

Where: Monterey Park City Hall Front Lawn 320 W. Newmark Ave.
Time: 9 AM to 2 PM

There will be informational booths (freebies ;O),  various workshops, and the Salvation Army will be there to collect used clothing and furniture!

Come volunteer or just to enjoy the festivities! There will also be a Cherry Blossom Festival (Starting at 11 AM) on the other side of City Hall filled with food, fun, and entertainment.
